What is the future of AI (人工智能)?Will it be a good thing? We asked four students what they think.I think AI will be more useful in our future lives. It's now used in many fields, like phones and medicine. No one really knows what will happen if machines become smarter than humans. However,I'm sure AI will help us solve many problems. I'm worried that people create something that can be better than themselves. In the near future,AI will develop at a high speed.Humans may be replaced(取代)because AI robots will do a lot of work instead of people. I really think that Al will change the way we work, the way we live, and the way we think.Imagine if we could put a CPU into our brains!Soon we'll be able to improve our math and memory. How exciting!
Think of what's happening now. Some robots are used to kill animals. So I think AI will be very dangerous for humans, too. We need to be careful about what we ask machines to do.

Paper is very good for keeping you warm. You have perhaps seen homeless men asleep on a large number of newspapers. In Finland,it is sometimes-40℃in winter. The farmers wear paper boots in the snow.Nothing could be warmer.
Each year, more and more things are made of paper. We have had paper cups and plates for a long time. But now we hear that chairs, tables, and even beds can be made of paper. With paper boots and shoes, you can wear paper hats, paper dresses, and paper raincoats. When you have used them once, you throw them away and buy new ones.
The latest use of paper seems to be paper houses. These are not small houses for children to play in,but real, big houses for people to live in.You can buy a house with three rooms for about 500 dollars. You can put it up by yourself in a few hours, and you can use it for about five years.

3.David feels uncomfortable when he looks at the undone homework on his desk.He doesn't finish his homework until the last minute,as a result of surfing the Internet.
People can procrastinate (拖延) on almost anything, even enjoyable things such as planning a vacation.Research has shown that the top things young people procrastinate are studying, going to bed and visiting their relatives. "The main reason for procrastination is that people are afraid of failure," professor Peter Stone says.
Some people believe procrastination will make them work more effectively (有效地).But researchers disagree. "I did a study several years ago, asking procrastinators to finish a job in a certain period of time," says Stone. "They did worse than non-procrastinators.They made more mistakes and they took longer." Procrastination is usually not good for you.For example, bedtime procrastination can lead to sleeplessness, which in turn can cause many other health problems.
What can be done to stop procrastinating? The best advice is to do what you reed to do as quickly as possible. If you want to develop a habit of exercise, just put on your walking shoes.
Next ,find something to help you stop procrastinating. For example,if you want to go to bed at 10:30 pm,you might set a timed dimmer switch (漸暗開(kāi)關(guān)) at 10:00 pm.When the lights are darker, you'll start going to bed.It works for most people.
Finally,reward(獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)) yourself every time you make progress.For example,after you've run 3 kilometers,enjoy your favorite ice-cream.
(1)What does David do instead of finishing his homework as soon as possible?
A.He goes to bed and has a rest.
B.He visits his relatives.
C.He writes a plan for a vacation.
D.He surfs the Internet first.

A.Procrastination is not good for people.
B.The reasons for people's procrastination.
C.The ways for people to avoid procrastination.
D.Procrastination can make people work better.
(3)How many suggestions are talked about to stop procrastinating?
A.Two.

8.閱讀下面短文,完成短文后的問(wèn)題。
A few days ago,I ran into a stranger as he passed by.I said sorry to him,and he said,"Excuse me too.I wasn't even watching for you."We were very polite, this stranger and I.Then we went on our way after saying goodbye.
Later in the kitchen at home,as I cooked our meal,my daughter Betty walked up to me,very quietly. When I turned around,I nearly knocked her down. "Get out of the way!"I shouted angrily. She ran away, crying.
That night, when I lay in bed,my husband said to me, "Mary, you were so rude (粗魯?shù)模?to Betty.Go and look around on the kitchen floor, and you'll find some flowers there.Betty brought those for you.She picked them herself -pink,yellow,and your favorite blue."
When I heard this,I thought deeply. While meeting with a stranger,I was calm and polite, but with my daughter,I was not patient.I felt sad and tears began to fall.
I quietly went to Betty's bed. "Wake up,my dear," I said. "Are these flowers you picked for me?" She smiled,"I found them by the tree.I knew you'd like them, especially the blue ones."I said, "I am so sorry that I treated you that way today." And she said,Mommy, that's okay - I still love you anyway."I kissed her and said, "I love you too and I love the flowers."
That day Betty gave me a lesson on how to get along with each other in the family.I spent much time on my work before and didn't realize how important family life was.In fact, many people are like me.I decided to do better in the future, then what about you?

(3)Who told Mary that Betty had picked flowers for her?
(4)How did Mary feel after knowing Betty picked flowers for her?
