"Ladies and gentlemen，a star is born!" Rob and Anne turned to look at Barney in surprise. "Our teacher gave me the main part in our school play!" Barney explained. "Oh，that's great." I said. "Who will you be playing？" "The Easter Bunny of course!" he answered. "Do you think you could make me a costume（服裝），Mum？" "Of course I could."
I made great progress on the costume on his first rehearsal（排練）day. "Mum，you're spending so much time on the costume." Barney said. "Are you sure you don't mind？" "No，not at all!" Then the big day was coming.Rob，Anne and I were really looking forward to Barney's performance.After a couple of minutes he walked onto the stage. "I am the Easter Bunny!" he said loudly.He disappeared and the rest of the children sang a song.The play began.Rob，Anne and I waited for Barney to appear again.But soon it was all over.
