After were turned to live in beautiful，sunny Italy from Germany，something funny happened between us and our neighbor and thus started our unforgettable friend ship.
Moving my family from Germany to Italy wasn't easy，especially with our cat and dog.We settled where we had been living once before，in the town of Aviano，Italy.I had been teaching there years ago and was now return in gas a psychology professor in a university.We loved the town because it was like stepping back in time 100 years.Everything seemed old-fashioned.
Because it's a small town，everyone knows everyone，and gossip（閑談，閑話） spreads fast.We knew we'd score good points for bringing an aging grandma with us since older people are respected in Italy.However，we knew that we would have to be careful not to let our pets out into the public too much.Many people still kept gardens and didn't appreciate cats and dogs getting into their yards and digging up their vegetables.
We let our pets out a few hours at a time to get used to the area，but our cat Vicky was an immediate cause for concern.Vicky was at acted to human wear and would pick up whatever she could carry and bring it home.One sunny morning our next-door neighbor was hanging out her laundry（洗的衣物） As soon as the woman finished and went indoor，Vicky climbed up the steps to the clothesline and caught the only thing she could reach.She went home proudly showing usher prize.It was a lovely children's dress with attractive laces.
My husband took it from the cat and noted that she was careful not to get it died.I decided to come back to the neighbor's place and hang it back up.
So，I went back to the neighbors place while my husband was up stirs at our place to give warnings if he saw any movement.I was hanging up the dress when the neighbor's door opened and the woman went out.
