    As we can see，Shanghai became the pioneer of the waste sorting policy.The local residents have been unable to dump their waste bags in whichever bin was closest since July 2019.Instead，domestic waste was strictly required to be classified into four categories：dry refuse，wet trash，recyclable and hazardous waste.
