   On behalf of the Student Union，I write the proposal calling on all students to participate in the Clear Your Plate campaign.
   Now，some of us students often throw food away while having dinners because they have eaten too much junk food before dinners or they dislike the food parents have prepared for them.In addition，some people order more food than they can eat up to show they are very generous.So there is a lot of food which is wasted，which does harm to our environment.
   So boys and girls，please give up the snacks between meals.When we have dinners in canteen，try to eat up all the food we order.In addition，if we can't eat up all of food in restaurants，just pack them and bring them back home.Meanwhile，encourage your classmates and parents to join us and if you find somebody is throwing away food，just stop them.
