Compared with the dishes in the west，the ones in China are placed on the table and everybody shares.While eating，the host serves food with "public" chopsticks to guests to show his or her politeness.The appropriate thing to do is to eat the food and say thank you and how delicious it is.If half of the fish is eaten up，a guest shouldn't turn the fish over，which is considered bad luck，especially for the fishermen.
