Three taikonauts（中國宇航員）on Shenzhou-13，Zhai Zhigang，Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu，met members of the public at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on October 15th， 2021.The next day they started their journey to the Chinese space station for a nearly six-month mission（任務(wù)）.
56-year-old Zhai Zhigang is an experienced taikonaut.In 2008，he became China's first to walk in space.He will command the Shenzhou-13 mission，as a leader of this flight to space.
There's also a woman on the mission，41-year-old Wang Yaping.She gave the first space class back in 2013.The Shenzhou-13 journey is her second extra mission in space.During her stay there she will continue teaching students from space. "After eight years，I'm happy to go to space again.I want my students to tell me what they want to see（探索）and fulfill（滿足）their wishes."
The team also includes Ye Guangfu who has his first space flight.He was chosen into the second group of taikonauts and spent the last 11 years training.
Their mission will focus on further testing and examining equipment and conditions on the Chinese Space Station.
