I nodded.

"Where did you come from？"I asked the dog，scratching （抓） him behind the ears.
He just sat there at ease.He didn't seem lost.Just a if he were dropping by for a visit.
"Alan!" I called. "You have to come to see this!"
Alan joined me，and we sat together in surprise for a moment.Then the boxer got up and slowly ran off.
