   This is a true story by Laura Straut.It's called "Our Lemon Tree".
 （1）In front of our house，a tree is growing. Its trunk （樹干） is strong and brown.Its leaves are shiny green.It's a lemon tree.We are careful around the lemon tree because there are sharp thorns（刺） along its branches.
In spring，the tree starts to bloom.The flowers are bright white.They smell so sweet that many insects （昆蟲） and animals come to the tree.Bees and butterflies go from flower to flower.They spread pollen （花粉） and help the flowers become fruit.（2）它們辛勤工作。
   Months go by.The flowers are gone.（3）It takes a long time to see the green fruit. Now we have to wait for the fruit to change from green to bright sunny yellow.We need to be really patient （耐心的）.
